STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of a Second Amendment to the Romjue
Advertising & Company, Inc. contract (C12-2006-AP) for services to be provided to the Tourist
Development Department.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Romjue Advertising & Company, Inc. is currently under
contract (C12-2006-AP) to provide media buying, marketing and advertising for the Airports.
The TDD is in need of the same services. This need is the result of the transition from media
buying services previously provided through Peter Mayer and the establishment of the
combination of internal and external promotion, advertising and marketing services. The
proposed amendment will allow Romjue Advertising & Company, Inc. to perform these services
for the TDD and shall not exceed $50,000 in fees for such services.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the Second Amendment to the Romjue Advertising & Company, Inc.
contract (C12-2006-AP) for media buying, marketing and advertising services to be provided to
the Tourist Development Department.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of a Second Amendment to the Romjue
Advertising & Company, Inc. contract (C12-2006-AP) for media buying, marketing and
advertising services to be provided to the Tourist Development Department.
