STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Seeking Board approval for the Chairman to sign contracts with
American Suncraft Construction Co., Inc. for the repair and painting of the Countryview and
Bluewater Tanks.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On February 18, 2014, the Board approved the award of the
contract to American Suncraft Construction Co for repair and painting of the Countryview and
Bluewater Tanks. All contract documents have been received and are ready to execute. (See
attached.)
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove authorization for the Chairman to sign the contract with
American Suncraft Construction Co.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends Board approving the Chairman to sign the contracts
with American Suncraft Construction Co.
