October 29, 2014 Tracy Stage Northwest Florida Regional Airport 1701 State Road 85N Eglin, Fi. 32542 Re: Access Control Proposal Dear Tracy Stage: Additional work will be required to incorporate the owners request from the site walk. During the RFP : process the owner supplied information that led the bidders to believe that the current system operated : off of two IC controller and all field devices were daisy chained to these ICs, after the post-bid inspection we have found that the current system consists of four total IC controllers that are in a network configuration. In order to provide a successful conversion to Genetec hardware and labor to install must be added, totaling $6,517.98. Also omitted from the RFP was a recent system change that added "ACU 9" with six readers attached. Hardware, software and labor to incorporate this recent addition into the conversion will increase the project price by $6,323.70.
