coefficient. Equations shall be a two term polynomial equation. Area velocity shall include round, U- shaped, rectangular, trapezoidal, and elliptical channels, with a correction for silt level. Data points shall include up to 50 pairs of points to convert level to flow rate, or level to area. 4) The software shall allow the user to set up 2 independent total flow calculations. For each total flow calculation, the software shall allow the Teledyne Tsco Flowlink Professional Software for li < ndows / Engineering Speciticarions Page 6 of 14 ruawdlnb3 6uijolluory Mold tZo -tt ell: oE4t) tZO- tt 811 rW lell!wgng oast auRpalal :tuawgoertV M m a user to change the units of measure, zero the totalizer, select the flow rate aY measurement upon which the total flow calculation shall be based, set the am total flow calculation to either totalize net, positive or negative flows, set the resolution, and set the interval at which the total flow shall be updated. 5) The software shall display the remaining battery capacity, based on Eveready Energizer Alkaline Lantern Batteries. viii) Wireless Power Management The software shall be capable of turning the 2103c cellular modem and the 2102 wireless transmitter on or off, depending on site conditions defined by an equation. When the conditions of the equation are true, the site shall tam the modem on. When false, the modem is not powered to conserve battery power. Refer to 2) B) xi) Equation Builder. ix) Dialout Alarms The software shall enable the user to program 2103 and 2103c modem modules to issue dial -out text message alarms to cellular phones and pagers. Alarms shall be triggered by site conditions defined by an equation. Refer to 2) B) xi) Eauation Builder. x) Pushed Data The software shall enable the user to configure a site with a 2103 or 2103c modem module to push data to an enterprise database server. The data in the database can then be viewed by authorized users in a Web browser or with Flowlink Pro. Refer to 3) ENTERPRISE DATABASE xi) Equation Builder An equation building and editing tool shall be used to create equations for various site conditions from one or more 2100 modules within a system. These equations can be used to generate alarms, log or push measurement data at secondary rates, and conserve power by turning on equipment only when needed. The triggering event shall be an AND /OR combination of one or more conditions, where each condition shall be based on selected available parameters measured by the system, which includes but is not limited to level, velocity, flow rate, total flow, temperature, voltage, or time. Each condition other than time shall be either greater than or equal to a set point, less than or equal to a set point, or a rate of change over a time period. A duration operator shall be available to modify the condition. A time condition shall include up to four start and stop time periods, where each time period shall be either daily, weekly, Monday through Friday, or a specific time. A NOT operator shall be available to modify any condition other than time. Parentheses shall be available to group conditions. All database operations shall be restricted to the Flowlink database alone. A) Pushed Data Through either the telephone number assigned to the modem module or direct RS- 232 connection, any Flowlink product may be used to configure the 2100 site to push data to the server. Data will be pushed every 5 minutes to 24 hours. i) A secondary interval can be configured to push data more or less frequently based on site conditions defined by an equation. Refer to x) Equation Builder. B) The software shall include a database connection that accepts pushed data from multiple, remote Isco 2100 Series devices, from the EP listener component. The received data shall be stored in an enterprise database, and can be viewed by authorized users with the Web UI with Internet Explorer or Flowlink Pro. i) The Flowlink Server shall have a modem listener to direct incoming data from a 2103 modem module, transferred via landline, to the EP listener. ii) The Flowlink Server IF listener shall direct incoming data from the intemet from a 2103c modem module, into the database. iii) The maximum number of sites the server is capable of supporting is 500, each site having a maximum of 3 flow modules and one modem module. iv) Data modification and maintenance can only be performed using Flowlink Professional or enterprise database software on a Windows PC. C) Alarm Server The Alarm Server component can be configured to notify users via email and/or SMS text message if a site does not make contact within a specified interval. D) Flowlink Professional User Roles i) The Flowlink Professional Administrator shall have full rights and be able to manage all Flowlink accounts for managers and field crew. ii) The Flowlink Professional Administrator and Manager( s) shall be able to: Overwrite data Verify the database Create and configure server alarms Delete data after archive or transfer iii) The Flowlink Professional Administrator, Manager( s), and Field Crew shall be able to: View and append data Modify device configurations Archive and transfer data Teledyne Isco Flowlink Professional Softwarefor Windows / Engineering Specifications Page 8 of 14 luawdinb3 6uucgucpr mold LZa- 1 L Bit: OCK) LZII- L l 811 rol len! wgng cost aut palal :tuawgoetty c 6c 0 a a 4) SOFTWARE UPDATES The software shall update the flash memory in 2101 Field Wizards, 2103/ c Modem a Modules, 2100 Flow Modules, 4100 Series Flow Loggers, 4200 Series Flow Meters, 6700 Series Samplers with 700 Series Flow Modules, 581 Rapid Transfer Devices, and 6100 Samplers with a new program, without requiring the user to open the instrument enclosure. The software shall also have the capability to reset the program to factory defaults in 2100 Series Flow Modules, 4100 Series Flow Loggers, 4200 Series Flow Meters, 6700 Series Samplers with 700 Series Flow Modules, and 581 Rapid Transfer Devices. 5) IMPORTING DATA The software shall import data generated by other software programs. A) The software shall import site files that were generated using Flowlink Software Versions 3 and 4 containing level, velocity, flow rate, rainfall, pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, temperature, and sample data from 3200 and 4200 Series Flow Meters, 4100 Series Flow Loggers, 6700 Series Samplers, PAL 1101 Parameter Actuator/Loggers, 675 and 676 Logging Rain Gauges, and 581 Rapid Transfer Devices. B) The software shall import ASCII data from a spreadsheet file in comma separated value format. The software shall import multiple columns of data from a spreadsheet file, and shall identify the type of data, units of measure, resolution, and number of significant digits, based on the header information in the spreadsheet file. 6) GRAPHS AND TABLES A) The software shall generate a line graph with the most recent data from a data set under a site in the database when the data set is double clicked. The graph shall be automatically scaled based on the data that is graphed, the color for the line on the graph shall be automatically selected, the label for the line shall be automatically set to the label of the data set in the database, the time span of the graph shall be a user selected default, and the total value of the data over the time span ( for flow rate and rainfall data) or the average value of the data over the time span ( for all other types of data) shall be displayed below the label. The software shall add an additional pane to the graph with a line graph of the data from an additional data set under the same site or a different site in the database when the additional data set is dragged and dropped onto the graph. The second pane shall be automatically scaled based on the data that is graphed, the color for the line on the graph shall automatically be different from that of
