The software shall display the connection settings used to communicate with the site. When not connected, these settings can be adjusted. a a a 4. Measurements a. When connected, the software shall continually poll the site for real -time readings, which are displayed, along with any test data, in a single window. b. The software shall provide tools for functional testing of the system and for field evaluation at the installation site. c. Advanced commands shall be available for overriding one or more programmed parameters. d. Units of measure shall be selectable for Flow, Level, Velocity, and Temperature. 5. Flow Rate a. Channel geometry and dimensions, and sensor mounting information, are entered by the user. As the information is entered, Flowlink displays a corresponding preview of the channel. Available settings are dependent upon the instrument type. 6. Data a. Data storage settings we viewed and managed by the user. Available settings are dependent upon the instrument type. b. Data storage in the instrument' s internal recorder may be set via Flowlink software for slate or wrap mode, as well as output to Flowlink software. c. The data storage interval is selectable in minutes. The selectable number of individual measurements per reading shall be determined by the storage interval. d. A reduced data format shall be selectable for more manageable file sizes. e. The Linear Regression Model, forced depth value ( constant level value), and precisionlresolution ratio shall be selectable for H -ADFM configurations. D. SOFTWARE UPDATES The software shall update the flash memory in Lsco instruments with a new program, without requiring the user to open the instrument enclosure. The software shall also have the capability to reset the program to factory defaults in 2100 Series Flow Modules, 4100 Series Flow Loggers, 4200 Series Flow Meters, 6700 Series Samplers with 700 Series Flow Modules, and 581 Rapid Transfer Devices. E. IMPORTING DATA 1. The software shall import data generated by other software programs. 2. The software shall include a small, separate application for converting databases and site files created in Flowlink version 5. 0 for use in Flowlink version 5. 1. Site files created in Flowlink 3 and 4 may also be converted with this application, after first being converted to Flowlink 5. 0. 3. The software shall import ASCII data from a spreadsheet file in comma separated value format. The software shall import multiple columns of data from a spreadsheet file, and shall identify the type of data, units of measure, resolution, and number of significant digits, based on the header information in the spreadsheet file. 4. The software shall import files created with W h ADFM software ( formerly used with Pulse Doppler instruments). F. GRAPHS AND TABLES Teledyne Isco Flowlink Software / Engineering Specifications Page 7 of II Released: February 24. 2008 tuawdinb3 6upopuoyl MOI j M-tt 1311 : OE7t) tZO- Lt 911 ro3 je8iwgng oosi auRp9ial quawgoeny 6d m aw m 1. The software shall generate a line graph with the most recent data from a data set under a site in the database when the data set is double clicked. The graph shall be automatically scaled a based on the data that is graphed, the color for the line on the graph shall be automatically selected, the label for the line shall be automatically set to the label of the data set in the database, the time span of the graph shall be a user selected default, and the total value of the data over the time span ( for flow rate and rainfall data) or the average value of the data over the time span (for all other types of data) shall be displayed below the label. The software shall add an additional pane to the graph with a line graph of the data from an additional data- set under the same site or a different site in the database when the additional data set is dragged and dropped onto the graph. The second pane shall be automatically scaled based on the data that is graphed, the color for the line on the graph shall automatically be different from that of the line in the fast pane, and the label and the total or average value, when set by the user, shall be automatically set in the same manner. The software shall allow graphs with up to 4 panes to be generated in this manner. Format of Graphs and Tables a. The software shall convert a graph into a table, and vice versa, with a single click. The average and total values of the data over the time span for flow rate and rainfall data, and the average value of the data over the time span for all other types of data, shall be displayed at the bottom of the table. b. The time span for a graph or table shall be any number of hours, days, weeks, months, or years, and shall begin with either the current or prior day, week, or month, a relative day and time, or an absolute date and time. Dates shall be selected from a calendar. c. The software shall allow the user to enter a label for each line, to select the type of each line to be either a line graph, bar graph, or point graph, and to select the units of measure, pane, Y axis, color, line type, and symbol for each line. d. The software shall generate graphs with up to 4 Y axes, with each Y axis either automatically or manually scaled. e. A movable vertical line shall mark a time stamp on the graph with which to compare the values of all data points intersected by the vertical line. Each value is reported in the legend. f. Up to two horizontal lines shall be displayed at user -specified values for annotation of ranges, limits, etc. g. The software shall have the capability to create and save graph/table templates using data from any site, with all properties of the graph or table specified by the user. When a different site is dragged and dropped onto a template, the data from this site shall be substituted for the template site, with all other properties of the graph or table remaining identical to that of the template. The software shall then allow the user to save the new graph or table. h. The software shall include over 150 standard graph/ table templates, including a variety of graphs and tables, with daily, weekly, and monthly time spans, with one and more than one data type, with raw data, and average, minimum, maximum, and total data. When a site is dragged and dropped onto a template, the data from this site shall be displayed on the template, with all other properties of the graph or table remaining identical to that of the template. The software shall then allow the user to save the new graph or table. The software shall include flow profile graphing options for Pulsed Doppler data, including cross section, velocity graph, vectors, amplitude, and correlation, any or all of which may be displayed simultaneously in separate panes. 3. Presentation of Graphs and Tables a. The software shall generate graphs with up to 4 panes, with a user specified relative height for each pane. b. The software shall print graphs and tables in either portrait or landscape orientation. c. The software shall invert selected data in a graph for ease of comparison or reference. d. The software shall include the capability to scroll the graph or table 25% of the time span to the left and right, to scroll the graph or table to the previous and next time span, and to scroll the graph or table to the beginning and end of the data. e. The software shall display the date, time, and value at a cursor on a graph when a location on the graph is clicked. The cursor shall move to the left and right on the graph, and between the different lines on the graph, by using the arrows on the computer keyboard. C The software shall have zoom
