A. The software shall set up and retrieve data from the memory of Isco 2100 Series Modules, 4100 Series Flow Loggers, 4200 Series Flow Meters, 675, 676, and 677 Logging Rain Gauges, and Pulse Doppler Flow Meters. The software shall retrieve data from the memory of Isco Avalanche and 6700 Series Samplers with 700 Series Modules, 581 Rapid Transfer Devices, and Isco- Ready Sondes. The software shall convert and analyze data collected with Isco Flowlink Software Version 5. 0. B. The software shall be compatible with Microsoft Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP, and Vista, and shall tun on an IBM PC or compatible computer. The software shall use pull -down menus and pop -up windows, and shall include a menu bar, toolbars, workspace, window, and status bar. C. The software shall communicate with 2100 Flow Modules over a direct RS -232 connection at 38400 bps or at 19200 bps for a wireless connection, or using a 56k telephone modem, or using a digital cellular modem. If so, the software shall allow the user to enter a new site name and clear the data storage in the instrument. The following specifications are listed first by instrument series and then by software tab for easier location. A. 4100 SERIES FLOW LOGGERS, 4200 SERIES FLOW METERS, 6700 SERIES SAMPLERS WITH 700 SERIES MODULES, 675 and 676 LOGGING RAIN GAUGES, AND 581 RAPID TRANSFER DEVICES 1. Site Information Upon connection to a site, the software shall display and allow editing of the instrument' s stored site name, date and time, and GPS information. 2. Devices a. The software shall display real -time data including sensor type, flow conversion, instrument software and ID number, and instrument time, while connected to the site. When not connected, the software shall display the last available information about the site. b. The software shall display system voltage while connected to the site. c. The software shall display the connection settings used to communicate with the site. When not connected, these settings can be adjusted. 3. Measurements a. While connected, the software shall display in real -time, in a single window, all available parameters measured by the system, including but not limited to level, velocity, flow rate, total flow pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, and temperature, voltage, and the sampler enable status. The software shall set the flow stream level in the flow meter. The software shall also display the sampler enabled flow for 4200 Series Flow Meters, and the positive
