STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval for payment to Peter Mayer for Woobox social
media contest platform in the amount of $498.00 for the period August 6 - September 30, 2014.
BACKGROUND: Peter Mayer task order 144 authorizes a social media sweepstakes and is
within the Purchasing Manager’s approval authority, but was presented to the Board on August
19 due to the use of promotional reserves funding. TDD staff inadvertently sent the task order to
Peter Mayer on August 4 after Purchasing’s approval rather than waiting until after Board
approval on August 19.
Peter Mayer engaged the services of Woobox on August 6 after receiving the signed task order,
but prior to Board approval on August 19.
OPTIONS: Approve or Disapprove
RECOMMENDATION: Approve payment to Peter Mayer for Woobox social media contest
platform in the amount of $498.00 for the period August 6 - September 30, 2014.
