BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: November 18, 2014 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Dave Skarzynski, Budget Manager SUBJECT: Approval of Budget Resolutions & Transfers Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, General Fund, which did not reflect adequate appropriations from Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for drive sober in Destin grant, in the amount of $75,000. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, County Transportation Trust Fund, which did not reflect adequate appropriations from Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for state highway lighting maintenance, in the amount of $51,000. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, County Transportation Trust Fund, which did not reflect adequate appropriations from InDyne for charges for services of Eglin Air Force Base – Okaloosa County joint fiber project, in the amount of $619,768. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, Road/Bridge Construction Fund, which did not reflect adequate appropriations from Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for installation and construction of signage and pavement marking along CR4 grant, in the amount of $219,000. BT-15-4, General Fund in the amount of $50,000. Provide funding to the Tax Collector for site or building evaluations related to the relocation of the Tax Collector’s Niceville operations. BT-15-5, E-911 Operations Fund in the amount of $30,000. Provide funding for FY14 encumbrance carryforward. BT-15-6, County Transportation Trust Fund in the amount of $150,000. Board approved action on Old Ebenezer Road and PJ Adams at the November 4 meeting.  RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2015 BUDGET GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners in the original budget did not reflect adequate appropriations from Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for drive sober in Destin grant, and WHEREAS, said additional revenue is evident, and WHEREAS, Section 129.06(2)(d), Florida Statutes provides that a County may, by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners at any time during the fiscal year, appropriate and expend funds received for a particular purpose from a source not anticipated in the original budget, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, Florida that the budget for the General Fund be increased, additional receipts appropriated as follows: RECEIPTS DEPT-ACCOUNT AMOUNT Public Safety-Sheriff - Federal 701582R-331210 $75,000 EXPENDITURES DEPT-ACCOUNT AMOUNT Budget Transfer-Sheriff-Law Enforcement 701582-591086 $75,000 Adopted this regular session the 18th day of November 2014.
