BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: August 16, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Jason Autrey SUBJECT: Foxwood Drainage Improvements Ph III (Final Pay) DEPARTMENT: Public Works BCC DISTRICT: 3 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Public Works staff solicited for quotations for phase 3 of a 3 phase project to retrofit the existing storm-water drainage in the Foxwood Estates subdivision in Crestview. BACKGROUND: Bids were opened on October 28, 2015 with J Miller Construction Inc., being the low bid. Subsequently, the BCC entered into the contract on February 18, 2016. Work began on the project immediately and was completed within the allotted time frame. The original contract amount was $291,319.60. The project has no overruns and no change orders. The final pay request for $90,232.28 will effectively satisfy this contract. OPTIONS: Approve/Dissaprove RECOMMENDATIONS: Request approval of Final Payment in the amount of $90,232.28 to J Miller Construction Inc., for Drainage Improvements to Foxwood Ph III. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
