Fort Walton Beach Resolution — 2023-14 Amending the Comprehensive Fee Schedule for FY 2023-24 — reading text

RESOLUTION 2023- 14 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE FEE SCHEDULE FOR FY 2023- 24; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, Resolution 99- 4, adopted on April 27, 1999, establishes a Comprehensive Fee Schedule; and WHEREAS, Resolution 99- 4 provides for amendment of the fee schedule by Resolution of City Council; and WHEREAS, each year Staff, in preparation of the annual budget, reviews the entire Fee Schedule and recommends updates as needed to the City Council; and WHEREAS, Staff has identified fees in the City' s current Comprehensive Fee Schedule that should be amended for FY 2023- 24. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. Authority—Amending Fee Schedule. Pursuant to the authority of Section 4. 01. 01( d) of the City Code of Ordinances, Authority of Finance Director, the Comprehensive Fee Schedule is amended to adopt fee schedules as outlined in the attached document titled FY 2023- 24 Comprehensive Fee Schedule, October 1, 2023.
