James Puckett From: Stefan W.Vaughn Sent: Friday, December 04, 2015 5:23 PM To: James Puckett Subject: OCJ Dumbwaiter Repair Mr. Puckett, On or about October 13, 2015, our staff notified Facilities Maintenance of a mechanical issue rendering our facility dumbwaiter inoperative between the two floors of our old main jail housing area. We consider this particular piece of equipment to be vital in the performance of our duties, as it permits items, such as inmate meal trays, department equipment, etc., to be transferred between floors in a manner which reduces the potential for injury for both inmates and staff. The timely response of Bagby representatives in repairing the dumbwaiter was critical towards ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility and we appreciate the prompt resolution of this concern made by your staff.
