Public Content The Big Smiles, FL organization entered into a MOU with The School Board of Okaloosa County to provide prevental dental care to OCSD students, with parental consent, at no cost to the student, families or the School Board. The addendum submitted removes specific schools and grade levels to expand this resource to students and schools as determined in collaboration with the Student Services Program Director. Public Content The Florida legislature enacted the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Safe Schools Act, which included a mental helath assistance funding component. The calendar is expected to effectively support a productive and successful 2025-2026 school year. It includes 230 instructional days which is required by statue. Public Content There is currently an Agreement between The School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida and PT Solutions Holdings, LLC to provide athletic training services and treatment through licensed athletic trainers for the period of June 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025, which provides coverage for FHSAA sanctioned or district approved summer sports conditioning events to be held through June and July 2025 and seeking services for athletic injuries that occur during an event. An extension, under the same terms and conditions, for the period of August 1, 2025 through August 11, 2025 is proposed to continue the services until an annual contract can be completed.
