STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Seeking Approval of Selectron Technologies, Inc. Contract.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Purchasing staff has been successful in securing a contract
with Selectron Technologies, Inc. for the Growth Management Department. This contract is for
an existing proprietary software which facilitates voice permitting and interactive voice response.
This contract is part of the on-going effort to secure contracts for all software licensing and
maintenance for more efficient payment and tracking capability. Staff request Board approval
for the contract to be retroactive to October 1, 2014. The contract amount is within the signature
threshold of the County Administrator and his signature will be obtained after the approval of the
Board for the contract to be retroactive.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny for contract with Selectron Technologies, Inc. to be retroactive to
October 1, 2014
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of contract with Selectron Technologies,
Inc. to be retroactive to October 1, 2014
