SUBJECT: Verizon Agreement Destin Airport

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed Verizon Wireless In Building Radio Distribution
Agreement with the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport is being presented to the Board of County
Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: Verizon Wireless will be installing microcell(s), rerad(s) or other
comparable in-building radio-distribution devices (IBRDS) and the installation of antennas
serving such IBRDs together with cables and fibers. Verizon Wireless' certificate of insurance is
attached along with the contract and lease internal coordination sheet.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the Verizon
Wireless Agreement as described above.
