BID SUMMARY COMMENTS
The following comments relate to the "*,, item:
ITEM 21
The lowest bid, submitted by Design Spaces Construction Services, was
disqualified; the bidder
qualified two of the bid items rendering their bid non- conforming to the specification.
Specifically, the bid limited the thickness of removed concrete to 6" and removed asphalt to 4".
Greater demolition thicknesses would require change orders and that is
unacceptable.
The second lowest bid, from Emerald Coast Concrete
Specialties, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida,
is the low, responsive, responsible bid and it conforms to the specifications.
