SUBJECT: Amendment to Ray and Shelley Netherwood Hangar Lease

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed Amendment to the Ray & Shelley Netherwood hangar
lease, Block 8 Lot 1 at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport, is being presented to the Board of
County Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: On June 11, 2007 the Board approved a hangar lease for Mr. & Mrs.
Netherwood for Block 8 Lot 1 at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport. During the FY 2014
internal audit of leases it was noticed that the lease had a typographical error. The text describing
the square footage as "ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY, did not match the
actual amount of 1,250, resulting in an error of 100 square feet. This Amendment will correct the
error. Also attached is a current certificate of insurance along with the contract and lease internal
coordination sheet.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the Amendment
as described above.
