BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: July 6, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Tracy Stage SUBJECT: RFP for Financial Advisory Services DEPARTMENT: Airport BCC DISTRICT: 2 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Airports Department requests the Board of County Commissioners approve its request to advertise the Request for Proposal (RFP) for Financial Advisory Services for the Okaloosa County Airports. Additionally, the Board is requested to approve appointment of the following review committee members: Ms. Stephanie Herrick, Okaloosa County Airports, Mr. Gary Stanford, Okaloosa County Finance Director, and Mr. Frank Hart, Okaloosa County Budget and Compliance Manager. BACKGROUND: The Okaloosa County Airports' current contract for Financial Advisory Services will expire September 30, 2016. The initial term of the contract will be for three years and will have two additional one year renewals. The contract award request will be brought to the Board for approval. Okaloosa County Purchasing has approved our request to advertise this RFP. OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the request to advertise this RFP for Financial Advisory Services and the appointment of review committee members.
