BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: May 3, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Tracy Stage SUBJECT: Amendment Two to Interspace Airport Advertising DEPARTMENT: Airport BCC DISTRICT: 2 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Airports Department requests approval by the Board of County Commissioners of Interspace Airport Advertising's Amendment Number Two extending Interspace Airport Advertising on a month to month basis while a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking competitive solicitations is processed. BACKGROUND: On May 15, 1996 the Board approved a contract between Interspace Airport Advertising for the display advertising program at the Destin - Fort Walton Beach Airport. The contract will expire on May 15, 2016. The County is in the process of an RFP seeking competitive solicitations for the display advertising services and Amendment Number Two will extend Interspace Airport Advertising's contract to a month-to-month basis while the RFP is completed. The contract and lease internal coordination sheet are attached along with Interspace Airport Advertising's certificates of insurance. OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the Interspace Airport Advertising Amendment Number Two as described above.
