SUBJECT: Application for the Gulf Coast Consortium Executive Committee
At the Nov. 28 meeting of the Gulf Consortium, the Directors in attendance unanimously
approved the criteria for selection of the first year Executive Committee, consisting of the
Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary-Treasurer, plus two additional Director Members per the
Interlocal Agreement.
The criteria include self-nomination for one or more of the offices sought, notification to the
Interim Manager by December 21st, and approval of the Director's candidacy by the respective
Board of County Commissioners via a letter or resolution to the Interim Manager stating its
support of the candidacy for an officer of the Gulf Consortium.
The election of the Executive Committee of the Gulf Consortium will be held at the meeting on
January 18, 2013 in Pinellas County.
