Department of Housing and Urban Development determines the Community Development Block Grant amount that the City of Fort Walton Beach receives each year. The proposed changes to the 2011 - 2012 Annual Action Plan will not affect the total amount of funding and will only involve the reallocation of previously funded dollars. To encourage citizen participation in the review and approval of the substantial amendment, the City of LL Fort Walton Beach will publish a notice of availability in a manner that affords citizens, public agencies, and other cN interested parties a reasonable opportunity to examine the amendment' s contents and to submit comments. The City may meet this requirement by publishing a summary of the substantial amendment on the City' s website and making copies of QmE the proposed amendment available at the City of Fort Walton Beach City Hall. The City will have a comment period of a minimum of thirty (30) days scheduled for the proposed substantial amendment prior to its adoption.
