Introduction
The City of Fort Walton Beach receives federal funds from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
HUD) through the Community Development Block Grant ( CDBG). CDBG is designed to assist in the development of
viable communities by supporting projects that provide decent housing, suitable living environments, and expanded
economic development opportunities primarily for low- and moderate- income persons. For receipt of these funds, the c
City must submit an Annual Action Plan to address the allocation of funds granted by HUD. To receive funds through the a

Action Plan was received October 12, 2011.
