STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of contract with Siemens Industry, Inc. for the
inspection and maintenance services for the security and access systems (RFP AP 26-15) at the
Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport for $21,496 annually.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On June 16, 2015 the Board approved the request for
approval of the bid by Siemens Industry, Inc. for the inspection and maintenance services for the
security and access systems at the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport for $21,496 annually. Staff
has prepared the contract and requests approval of the contract and authorization for the
Chairman to sign the document. The contract will begin when fully executed and will continue
for a duration of one (1) year with the option to extend for up to two (2) additional one (1) year
renewals.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny approval of contract with Siemens Industry, Inc. for the inspection
and maintenance services for the security and access systems (RFP AP 26-15) at the Destin-Fort
Walton Beach Airport for $21,496 annually.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the contract with Siemens Industry,
Inc. for the inspection and maintenance services for the security and access systems (RFP AP 26-
15) at the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport for $21,496 annually and authorization for the
Chairman to sign the contract.
