Karen Rossi From: Teresa Ward [TWard@clerkofcourts.cc] Sent: Thursday, May 30, 2013 8:44 AM To: John Dowd Cc: Gary Stanford; Brenda L. Bailey; Ernie Padgett; Jim Trifilio Subject: signature block for chairman John, Jim Trifilio has been keeping me posted on the contract he is attempting to place on next Tuesday’s Board agenda. He said you recommend the document come before the Board and have the Chairman’s signature sign it. Jim said there is no signature block for the Chair on the contract and asked me how to handle it. I understand the other parties and the attorneys have already signed. Would it be appropriate for me to add the signature block after BCC approval with a declarative statement that it is being added after execution by the other parties and pursuant to Board action? I would identify myself as the party which added it as Clerk to the Board. Or, do you prefer the Chairman’s signature block be added first and returned to the other party to initial?
