Community Education is a fee based program. The $150 fee will pay for the class instruction including the instructors materials. Students participating in this program will not receive high school credit for this class. The Driver Education fee will be appropriated as follows: Total fee paid by student $150 Other compensation & benefits- $120 Administrative costs- $30 The other compensation and benefits amount is the total cost of the other compensation paid to the instructor plus the district's portion of FICA and retirement. Documentation concerning these items have been provided to all Board members and the public in advance to assure an extensive and thorough review.
