Walton Beach, Flor- ida will hold a hearing, to discuss the County's proposal to construct the Garniers Water Main Improvements Phase 1B (Marlowe Area) Project using Okaloosa . County Water and Sewer De- partment (OCWS) staff and equipment. The public hearing shall constitute - the public meeting as required by section 256.20, Florida Statutes. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider whether it is in the public's best interest to perform the | project using the local governments own ser- vices, employees, and equipment. The scope of work generally con- sists of the construction of new water mains (totaling 1.4 miles in length) and the installation of new fire hydrants. The esti- mated cost of the proj- ect using OCWS staff is $567,000.00. ALL INTERESTED PER- SONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND AND BE HEARD REGARDING THE PUBLIC HEAR- ING.
