SUBJECT: ECCC Floor Plan & Capacities Brochure Update – payment approval

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of payment in the amount of $760 to Life’s A
Beach for design work to incorporate Bayview Plaza on the Floor Plan & Capacities brochure for
the ECCC sales kit.
BACKGROUND: At the time services were engaged for the design work, staff thought payment
would be made via credit card due to the dollar amount of the purchase. After services were
performed and the invoice was received, the vendor advised he does not accept credit card
payments.
At this point, there is no method to pay the vendor in accordance with County purchasing policy
now that the work has been performed without a prior arrangement for payment. Board approval
is requested to pay the vendor.
OPTIONS: Approve or Disapprove
RECOMMENDATION: Approve payment in the amount of $760 to Life’s A Beach for design
work to incorporate Bayview Plaza on the Floor Plan & Capacities brochure for the ECCC sales
kit.
