STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Discussion of legislative trip to Washington, D.C., and request
direction on Federal Agenda from Alcalde & Fay.
BACKGROUND: On March 12-13, 2013, Commissioner Harris traveled to Washington, D.C.
to meet with members of our congressional delegation along with representatives of county’s
Lobbyists, Alcalde & Fay. The commissioner will provide a briefing to the board on his
meetings in Washington D. C. Additionally, Alcalde & Fay has provided a suggest Federal
Agenda for the Board’s consideration.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove Federal Agenda.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve Federal Agenda from Alcalde & Fay.
