W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. 160 Industrial Park Road Freeport, Fl 32439 Reference: Request for Proposal No. 13: Ice Machine Infrastructure Rehabilitation of Public Parking Facilities Northwest Florida Regional Airport, Eglin AFB, Florida Dear Mr. Reynolds: The Airport will be installing an ice-making machine on the secure side of the apron (airside). This is to be installed on an existing concrete slab, west side of the terminal building, in the “old” fuel farm location near the fencing to the credit card parking lot. The roofing overhang is too low to install this unit, so just adjacent, there is a 15’-0 (north to south) x 14’-9 (east to west) concrete slab that will be utilized. We hereby request a lump sum price proposal for the following items. 1. Install electrical power from existing power sources directly behind the fuel farm shed to the identified location. (See Attachment A, cut-sheets for power requirements and details.) 2. Install plumbing and drain systems as required per attached cut-sheet (Attachment A) using the airports nearest usable water supply. Currently, there is a water hose bib approximately 50’-0 from this area. Also, there is a hose bib located at the old fuel farm building but it is not yet confirmed that this has a current water supply. If confirmed, use the nearest supply source. This work must be completed by November 1. Please find attached photos of the existing concrete pad, existing electrical infrastructure, and existing hose bids. If you have any questions, please contact us at 850-678-0050 at your convenience. Sincerely, AVCON, INC.
