RESOLUTION 2021 - 6 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING FUNDING THROUGH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AS PART OF THE CORONAVIRUS RELIEF ACTS; AUTHORIZING A BUDGET AMENDMENT IN THE FY 2020-21 BUDGET TO RECORD REVENUES AND EXPENSES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the Department of Justice, through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, provides a supplemental funding grant to assist with the response to the Coronavirus; and WHEREAS, the City is eligible to participate544. in 00this grantfunds program, 0andCityhas applied for and $ match); and total of$ 49, 544. 00 ($ 49, grant and been awarded a project WHEREAS, City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the citizens of Fort Walton Beach to participate in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement supplemental funding grant.
