SUBJECT: Assignment of Lease Mr. Williams to Bremfour Aviation Group
DEPARTMENT: Airport

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed Assignment of Lease from Williams Electric, Inc., to
Bremfour Aviation Group, Inc. For Block 2 Lot 2 at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport is
being presented to the Board of County Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: Williams, Electric, Inc., Mr. Harvey Williams previously entered into a
ground lease for Block 2 Lot 2 at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport and now assigns his
responsibilities to Bremfour Aviation Group, Inc., Dr. Robert Devrnja. The Assignment of
Lease transfer fee has been received. Internal coordination of the lease agreement took place in
September and October of 2013. Bremfour Aviation Group, Inc.'s certificates of insurance were
received by the Airports Department in February 2014 and were then forwarded to Mr. Gary
Real, Risk Manager for approval. Dr. Devrnja's certificates of insurance are attached along with
the Contract and Lease Internal Coordination Sheet and an email from Mr. Real stating his
approval of the certificates of insurance.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the Assignment
of Lease as described above.
