SUBJECT: Sale of Property Live Oak Church Rd

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Board approved selling a parcel of land located at 4540 Live
Oak Church Road (Parcel #05-2N-23-0000-0001-001D) at their meeting held September 4,
2012. The buyer (Tommy Batson) has requested the Board sell him an additional five (5) ft.
Strip of land (1263.24 sq. ft.) on the west side of the parcel (see survey). The selling price of this
strip would be computed at the same square footage price of the original purchase which was
$1.10 per sq. ft.
1,263.24 sq. ft. x $1.10 per sq. ft. = $1,389.57
Public Works would retain an easement to the property and approves the sale.
OPTIONS: Approve or Reject.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the sale & authorize the Chairman to sign the Deed and the
Easement.
