SUBJECT: Savannah Heights Townhomes - Final Plat Approval
DEPARTMENT: Growth Management

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: To review the final plat for Savannah Heights Townhomes, a
proposed 9 lot townhome subdivision located at the south side of Hurlburt Road, Fort Walton
Beach. The property is currently zoned Residential 2 (R 2) with a Future Land Use Map
designation of Medium Density Residential (MDR). Property contains 0.78 acres more or less.
BACKGROUND: The Development Order (DO) for the proposed 9 lot townhome subdivision
was initially issued on February 2, 2007 and has been extended numerous times due to the state
of economy. All approvals for the 9 lot townhome development are on file.
OPTIONS: Approve or Disapprove
RECOMMENDATIONS: The proposed 9 lot townhome subdivision complies with the
Okaloosa County Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code. Staff recommends that the
Board of County Commissioners approve the final plat as presented.
