BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: July 19, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Zan Fedorak SUBJECT: Provide information regarding a RFP for Air Service Development DEPARTMENT: Purchasing BCC DISTRICT: 2 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Provide an update regarding the issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Air Service Development. (RFP AP 67-16) BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On July 6, 2016 the Board approved a Request for Qualifications for the Airport to obtain Air Service Development Consulting Services. Purchasing staff has further researched this request and determined the solicitation should be published as a Request for Proposals. The previous Board approval included Review Committee members; Ms. Wendy Cain, Mr. Martin Owen, and Mr. Tom Rimkus. No changes are needed for the committee members. This is provided as an informational item to make the Board aware that the process will be handled as a Request for Proposals in lieu of a Request for Qualifications. The process will be under the oversight of the Purchasing staff. OPTIONS: Informational only. RECOMMENDATION: Informational only. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
