Re: Partridge Hills Subdivision
Dear Sir,
The proposed Partridge Hills Subdivision is ready for your inspection after substantial renovations have been accomplished. They are:
1. All pavement has been renovated by removal by milling of a three foot strip along curbs to provide a smooth interface, and
the laying of new asphalt no less than one inch up to one and one half inches, particularly in the center to establish a crown
for the roadway. Adequate densities were achieved as indicated by the data attached herewith. Some of the data was taken
from core samples and some by the use of a densitometer as indicated.
2. Both stormwater basins are functional having had silt removed. A topographic survey of the large basin was conducted to
determine its volume. The volume was found to be in excess of the original plans. From observations made over the past
several weeks both basins appear to be functioning properly.
The only issue that remains is the drainage at the entrance along the curb on the east side near the first intersection. Ponding is
occurring on the side which was observed in the recent rain events. We are in the process of determining a solution for this.
The infrastructure is now in substantial compliance with the approved plans.
Sincerely,
Kermit H. George, PE
