STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Public Works staff provides a list of roads annually to the Board for
consideration and approval to have a variety of treatment types performed. Resurfacing roads
are performed using internal staff while other preservation techniques are performed utilizing
external sources.
BACKGROUND: Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc is the contractor tasked with providing annual
road preservation techniques based upon staff recommendation of treatment types for roads
within the County maintenance system.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove
RECOMMENDATIONS: Request approval of Task Order 2 for C12-1961 along with the
associated road list to move forward with scheduling and performing the work.
