The Workshops of each month will be conducted at 9:00 A.M., and the Regular Meetings will be conducted at 6:00 P.M., at the School Board Central Administration Complex, in the Training Room, Niceville, Florida. Public Content The proposed new Meeting Agenda format for the School Board would: 1. Combine the Visitors agenda category into the Recognitions agenda category; 2 Eliminate the the Instructional Technology agenda category and place those items under the Consent agenda; 3. Designate the first Public Comment agenda category, that precedes the Consent agenda, for agenda items discussion (Category 5). A copy of the proposed Agenda format is attached. Organizational Session Subject : 3.7 Designation of School Board Member to serve as the Board's Trustee to the Florida School Boards Insurance Trust (FSBIT) Meeting : Nov 22, 2022 - Organizational Meeting Type : Action Recommended Action : Motion to designate a School Board Member to serve as the Board's Trustee representative to the Florida School Boards Insurance Trust (FSBIT). Public Content As a Trust Member School District in Florida School Boards Insurance Trust, a School Board Member shall be appointed annually by the School Board to serve as a Trustee. There are three meetings each year in January, April, and October, with the first two meetings taking place in Gainesville and the third meeting at a rotating location selected by the trust. Tim Bryant currently serves as the Board's Trustee representative to the Florida School Boards Insurance Trust (FSBIT). Public Content Marti Gardner currently serves as the Board's representative on the Northwest Florida Manufacturers Council. Board Member representation on behalf of the Board collaborates with the Northwest Florida Manufacturers Council in the field of Career and Technical Education programs throughout the community, Okaloosa Technical College, and the District's high schools.
