L12-0395-BCC This Amendment to Contract L12-0395-BCC is made and entered into this day of , 2015, by and between the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter the “County”, and Tommy Mattonie’s Po-Boy & Floribbean Tacos, Inc., hereinafter “Lessee”. NOW THEREFORE, Contract L12-0395-BCC is hereby renewed for an additional one (1) year term, effective November 1, 2015, expiring October 31, 2016. FURTHERMORE, Contract L12-0395-BCC is amended to read as follows: 1. Section 2, titled Term is amended as follows: The initial term of this lease is one (1) year commencing on the date of execution hereof by Lessor. The parties shall have the right to renew for four (4) successive one (1) vear period for a total of five (5) years. The last renewal permitted for this Lease shall expire October 31, 2017. 2. The reason it is in the form of an amendment is due to the fact that if you read the lease there is no mention of renewals, however if you look at the bid documents it does allow for renewals. That language needed to be cleaned up so we can clearly demonstrate that they are allowed the lease renewals. When you open the document, you will see my comment that you’ll need to add the signature blocks and you may want to check the spelling because Mattonie is spelt a few ways in the contract and renewals, so we want to make sure we spell it correctly.
