the Okaloosa County Gas Board and a former and he has received all the information she has and Judge, said he would call her if he saw but she anything has not heard from him. She mentioned he is very concerned because they have about 20- 30, 000 numbers that would be included in such a req'l:est. She said the City has made some movement forward in it trying to get noticed and dealing with it. She said she is trying to figure out what should actually be presented if the City was in compliance with all the current laws, and if purging of the first five numbers is another alternative, she will look forward to talking with that attorney. The Mayor mentioned Clay Ford, who will move into the presidency is also an attorney, intends to have the FLC work on this legislatively next year, but he said temporarily that is what can be done. The Mayor mentioned she brought it up at the Northwest Florida League of Cities Board of Directors meeting last Friday and several people did not know anything about it. Mr. Patterson expressed his disappointment that the County knew about the situation and did not contact any of the Cities to alert them of a problem developing. Dr. Pullen suggested if there is any resolution or motion that Council can make to help the City Attorney, it could be presented at the meeting next week for Council to vote on, and he will leave it in the City Attorney' s hands on what Council can do. He said he voted to release it but agrees they should not have to release the numbers. Mr. Holmes commented it is commendable there is so much time being involved to the people who have had the request for the numbers, but agreed Council still owes it to the citizens to continue to look at it. He hoped the vote was not interpreted to just release the numbers and forget it because he did not want to get into any litigation, but thought the City should go a little further before rolling over and say, here are the numbers. He said if the City Attorney or the City Manager needs a motion, he hoped it would come forward to Council. r_.,..____.__._.. .--.-.~..-_._.-. r-'---- I j,- I'~ I'.\ 2. 2. 4 IV o 5- 18- 04 r~i~:~~,\0~ ~~~/111' ~ i\?~ Being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8: 20 p. m.
