A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT W ALTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION
2007- 11 TO ALLOW CITY RESIDENTS, AND
STUDENTS OF FORT WALTON BEACH HIGH
SCHOOL OR CHOCTAWHATCHEE HIGH
SCHOOL IN THE 10TH TO 12TH GRADE TO BE
MEMBERS; AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on June 12, 2007, the City Council of the City of Fort Walton Beach
passed Resolution 2007- 11, which established the Youth Committee.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is beneficial to allow all
students in the 10th to lih grade to apply for appointment to the Youth Committee.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF FORT WALTON
BEACH:
Section 1.Resolution 2007- 11 is hereby amended to allow residents of the
City or
any student who attends Fort Walton Beach High School or Choctawhatchee
High School, and is in 10th through lih grade to be a member of the Youth Committee.
Section 2. All other provisions of Resolution 2007- 11, not amended
by this
resolution, shall remain in effect.
Section 3. This resolution shall be effective upon vote of Council.
