The Sheriff is requesting the Board approve Law Enforcement Trust Fund disbursements for
various activities in the following amounts: 1. Fort Walton Beach Family YMCA, Tee shirts and
Drug Awareness Campaign, $1,000; 2. Dr. MLK Jr. Celebration Committee of Okaloosa County, FL,
youth education program support for alternatives to criminal behavior, $2,000; 3. Big Brothers Big
Sisters of NW Florida, partnership funding for programs focusing on reduction in truancy, juvenile
delinquency and anti-gang participation, $1,000; 4. Mental Health Association of Okaloosa Walton
Counties, baker act medications, $5,000.
Total Disbursement Requested: $8,000.
