Dear Ms. Nolan:
On behalf of Okaloosa County, Florida, please accept this letter of support for the West Florida
Regional Planning Council’s (WFRPC) 2014 U.S. EPA Brownfields Assessment Grant
Application. We endorse the broad range of support for the revitalization and redevelopment
efforts in our community, and encourage WFRPC in its efforts to bring these much needed funds
into their seven (7) county region to assist with the redevelopment of brownfield areas.
We hope that you will give every possible consideration to the Council’s application for a U.S.
EPA Brownfields Assessment grant. This grant will significantly benefit the communities within
the WFRPC region by enhancing the local economy and improving the environment.
Okaloosa County is pleased to offer our support and continued collaboration with the WFRPC in
