RESOLUTION NO. 14-
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as the DEPARTMENT has
prepared a Joint Participation Agreement to provide funding for the operation of alternative Commuter
transportation to the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the
Agency, and
WHEREAS, the DEPARTMENT has been authorized under Chapter 341.041(10), Florida Statues, to
enter into the Joint Participation Agreement and agrees to a Department participation of $10,000, and
WHEREAS, the AGENCY has the authority to enter into the Joint Participation Agreement and to
undertake the project. The AGENCY further agrees to the conditions upon which assistance will be
provided and the understanding as to the manner in which the project will be undertaken, as outlined in
the Joint Participation Agreement.
