In addition, all fire extinguishers must be inspected on an annual basis and recharged or replaced as necessary. This work must be done by qualified industry professionals. This work is contracted out to a private sector firm. To get the most favorable pricing, the contract for the previously mentioned services is put out for rebid periodically. The contract was recently rebid with Koorsen submitting the lowest bid that met all of the requirements. We recommend that the Board of County Commissioners execute a one year contract with three each one-year options to extend the term of the base contract for the specified work to Koorsen. Thank you.
