Presentation of Annual Investment Report

Angela Balent, Partner, O'Sullivan Creel, LLP will be present to present the
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report(CAFR) as a visitor.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The CAFR must be filed with the governing body of the local
government within 30 days after delivery. Also enclosed is a copy of the Annual Investment
Report prepared by the Finance Department which must be filed along with the CAFR.
BACKGROUND: In accordance with Auditor General Rule 10.550 and the Florida
Statutes Chapter 11.45, enclosed is a copy of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report of the
County for Fiscal Year 2012. If there are any deficiencies, this report includes them as cited by
the auditor’s and an explanation or rebuttal by management in accordance with the rules cited
above. Also, in accordance with the Clerk of Court/Finance Department Investment and
Portfolio Policies, enclosed is the Annual Investment Summary report. This policy states that
“,.annually along with the presentation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report the Clerk
to the Board will present an investment summary report for the year.”
