STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Staff requests Board direction on proposed list of priorities for State
legislative action and potential funding opportunities for Okaloosa County.
BACKGROUND: Attached is a list of staff-developed legislative priorities for Board
consideration for FY 2015. A listing of potential State funding opportunities is included for
Board consideration as well.
ANALYSIS: Once our State legislative and funding list is finalized, it should be sent to our
delegation.
OPTIONS: Provide staff direction.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Reach consensus on local legislative issues and funding
opportunities and provide staff direction.
