Rehabilitation

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Approve Chairman to sign previously awarded contract with Bill
Smith Electric, Inc. for electric manhole rehabilitation.
BACKGROUND: On December 3, 2013 the Board approved to award the contract for
Electrical Manhole Rehabilitation to Bill Smith Electric being the sole bidder meeting
specifications for the amount of $201,207. Attached is the contract which is ready to execute.
At this time, we are seeking authorization for the Chairman to sign the contract.
OPTIONS: Approve or Reject authorization for the Chairman to sign contract.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval for the Chairman to sign the contract.
