The properties are located on Lot 18, Lot 19 and Lot 20 at the comer of Kiwi and Carson. These lots were generously donated by the City of Fort Walton Beach in order to build affordable housing. We will attempt to get these three houses started in January 2006. One is being sponsored by Boeing Corporation, the second house is being sponsored by Beach Community Bank and the last house will be built by an anonymous donation from a donor who wishes to assist us in building home in the area. Cost of construction should remain the same at about 35, 000.00. Most of the materials are being donated through Habitat's International headquarters, and the labor is mostly donated. I will get with Missy to get the final figures. Joyce, I want you to know how grateful Habitat is to the City of Fort Walton Beach for their support. The savings to these low income housings are substantial thanks to you all. We are still in the quest for additional land and as we continue to build I'll keep you up to date.
