BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On January 5, 2016 the Board approved award of the contract with Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. for Pavement Preservation: Micro-Surface Treatment. The contract has been prepared and is ready for the Chairman’s signature. Staff recommends the Board approve the contract and authorize the Chairman to sign the document. The contract term will begin when fully executed and will continue through September 30, 2016 and may be renewed for one additional two year period. OPTIONS: Approve/Deny contract with Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. for Pavement Preservation: Micro-Surface Treatment and authorize the Chairman to sign the document. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the contract with Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. for Pavement Preservation: Micro-Surface Treatment and authorize the Chairman to sign the document.
