In order to satisfy the signatory for the title opinion on said plat, we are required
to make minor changes to the bearings and distances on the plat to conform to the recorded legal
description". They also advised that they were changing the legal description.
The discrepancies involved amount to minimal amounts varying from 0.02 to 0. 14 of a foot.
The Title Attomey contacted the City Attorney who advised that the proper process for having the
changes reviewed should be to have the City Council review and ratify the changes. The matter could
be placed on the Council' s consent agenda.
The matter is ready for consideration and approval of the City Council at their December 13, 2005
meeting.

DISCUSSION:
The Engineering Division of the Public Works Department ( PWD) reviewed the changes and found that
the changes made do not affed the status of the final plat as to its compliance with the City's
Subdivision regulations. The City Surveyor also reviewed the changes and found that they did not
change the fad that the plat meets the statutory requirements of Chapter 171, F.S.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council ratify the Final Plat for Hollywood Commercial Subdivision.
