STATEMENT OF ISSUE: [PUR] Seeking Approval of Contract Amendment No. 2 with Sirsi
Corporation (C08-1685-LIB).
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Staff requests Board approval of Amendment No. 2 for Sirsi
Corporation contract. This amendment will add a quote (No. 72638, attached) into the existing
contract. This amendment will add layers to the software which enhances customer friendly
usability that allows interface with the e-book catalog. It will also provide an alternative to the
existing cooperative software which is out-dated. This will be funded by a Florida state program
grant which has already been received.
Staff requests for the Board to approve the amendment to be retroactive to October 1, 2014 and
authorize the Chairman to sign the amendment.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny for the Chairman to sign the amendment to the Sirsi contract and for
it to be retroactive to October 1, 2014.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the Chairman to sign the amendment to
the Sirsi contract and for it to be retroactive to October 1, 2014.
